Multiple eruptive lichenoid <span class=\"term\" data-term-id=\"1596\">keratosis<\/span> in sites exposed to the sun they are also described. Its color varies from an initial reddish brown to a purple\/grayish brown like the <span class=\"term\" data-term-id=\"164\">injury<\/span> resolves several weeks or months later.<\/p>\n<p>Lichenoid keratosis is also known as <span class=\"term\" data-term-id=\"22\">benign<\/span> lichenoid keratosis, solitary lichen planus, lichen planus type keratosis and involuntary lichenoid plaque. They are one of the causes of <span class=\"term\" data-term-id=\"1395\">atypical<\/span> solar <span class=\"term\" data-term-id=\"1392\">lentigo<\/span>.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"%C2%BFQuien-contrae-queratosis-liquenoide\"><\/span>Who gets lichenoid keratosis?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Lichenoid keratosis usually develops in light-skinned patients aged 30 to 80 years. It is twice as common in women as in men. Over time, signs of the original injury disappear. If there is any doubt about the diagnosis, digital dermoscopic images can be taken and used in follow-up a few months later.<\/p>\n<p>Lichenoid keratosis can be removed if desired using liquid nitrogen, electrosurgery, or curettage.<\/p>\n<p>Multiple eruptive lichenoid keratoses can be effectively treated with oral administration <span class=\"term\" data-term-id=\"761\">retinoid<\/span>acitretin<\/p>\n<p>To date there have been no reports of lichenoid keratosis developing into malignant skin tumors.<\/p>\n<\/section>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Que es liquenoide queratosis?
