Dense bunches of <span class=\"term\" data-term-id=\"196\"><span class=\"term\" data-term-id=\"442\">neutrophils<\/span><\/span>  and scattered <span class=\"term\" data-term-id=\"448\">eosinophils<\/span> fill the papilla <span class=\"term\" data-term-id=\"61\">dermis<\/span> forming <span class=\"term\" data-term-id=\"1454\">microabscesses<\/span> (Figure 4). <span class=\"term\" data-term-id=\"1344\">Acantolytic<\/span> <span class=\"term\" data-term-id=\"1069\">keratinocytes<\/span> may also be evident within the papillary <span class=\"term\" data-term-id=\"1453\">microabscess<\/span> (Figure 4). La histolog\u00eda es la del p\u00e9nfigo, t\u00edpicamente de tipo foli\u00e1ceo, con formaci\u00f3n de <span class=\"term\" data-term-id=\"1038\">intraepidermal<\/span> <span class=\"term\" data-term-id=\"1028\">vesicles<\/span>.<\/p>\n<div id=\"square-placement-country-holder\" class=\"country-dependent advert\">\n<div class=\"box-placement square-placement\">\n<div class=\"advert__frame\">\n<div id=\"dermnet-dermnet-mobbox\">\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Manchas-especiales-en-dermatitis-herpetiforme\"><\/span>Special spots in dermatitis herpetiformis.<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Direct <span class=\"term\" data-term-id=\"142\">immunofluorescence<\/span> studies show granular IgA deposits in the dermis <span class=\"term\" data-term-id=\"374\">papillae<\/span>.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Diagnostico-diferencial-de-dermatitis-herpetiforme\"><\/span>\n<span class=\"term\" data-term-id=\"813\">Differential diagnosis<\/span> dermatitis herpetiformis<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Herpes virus <span class=\"term\" data-term-id=\"145\">infection<\/span>: Despite the occasional presence of acantholytic keratinocytes, dermatitis herpetiformis does not show <span class=\"term\" data-term-id=\"737\">multinucleation<\/span>, <span class=\"term\" data-term-id=\"1612\">nuclear<\/span> <span class=\"term\" data-term-id=\"1528\">chromatin<\/span> changes or <span class=\"term\" data-term-id=\"956\">cellular<\/span> <span class=\"term\" data-term-id=\"1832\">inclusions<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"term\" data-term-id=\"321\">Linear<\/span> IgA <span class=\"term\" data-term-id=\"498\">bullous<\/span> <span class=\"term\" data-term-id=\"60\">skin disease<\/span>: The <span class=\"term\" data-term-id=\"474\">histological<\/span> although the findings are largely identical <span class=\"term\" data-term-id=\"3\">acantholysis<\/span> and <span class=\"term\" data-term-id=\"850\">fibrin<\/span> at the tips of the dermal papillae and <span class=\"term\" data-term-id=\"1386\">leukocytosis<\/span> It is more frequent in dermatitis herpetiformis. Immunofluorescence results will show linear staining of the IgA basement membrane.<\/p>\n<p>Bullous lupus erythematosus: Histology may be identical to discrimination only possible when linear IgG and IgM are found in the basement membrane. IgA deposits can also be viewed simultaneously. Frequently the dermal papillary <span class=\"term\" data-term-id=\"443\">neutrophilic<\/span> <span class=\"term\" data-term-id=\"541\">infiltrate<\/span> it is seen spreading towards the surroundings <span class=\"term\" data-term-id=\"693\">interstice<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"term\" data-term-id=\"36\">Cicatricial<\/span> pemphigoid: in early papillary lesions <span class=\"term\" data-term-id=\"1\">abscess<\/span> you can see the formation although the <span class=\"term\" data-term-id=\"449\">eosinophilic<\/span> the population increases with <span class=\"term\" data-term-id=\"164\">injury<\/span> hour. The key distinguishing feature is the presence of dermal scars under the blister. Immunofluorescence also differs with linear IgG typically seen on the basement membrane.
