condition without the need for research. It can be quite nonspecific in patients with <span class=\"term\" data-term-id=\"91\">erythroderma<\/span>.<\/li>\n<li>Lymphocytosis is associated with viral infections and certain bacterial infections like tuberculosis and syphilis.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Otros-analisis-de-sangre\"><\/span>Other blood tests<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<span class=\"term\" data-term-id=\"896\">Renal<\/span>, <span class=\"term\" data-term-id=\"1105\">hepatic<\/span>, thyroid and iron can be evaluated in patients with generalized disease <span class=\"term\" data-term-id=\"245\">pruritus<\/span>, <span class=\"term\" data-term-id=\"1091\">vasculitis<\/span> or systemic symptoms.<\/li>\n<li>Blood <span class=\"term\" data-term-id=\"559\">glucose<\/span> and glycosylated <span class=\"term\" data-term-id=\"1205\">hemoglobin<\/span> detect and control diabetes, which may be relevant in infections or skin diseases associated with metabolic syndrome.<\/li>\n<li>Anti-nuclear and removable <span class=\"term\" data-term-id=\"1612\">nuclear<\/span> <span class=\"term\" data-term-id=\"410\">antigen<\/span> <span class=\"term\" data-term-id=\"426\">antibodies<\/span> and tissue <span class=\"term\" data-term-id=\"352\">autoantibodies<\/span> are evaluated in patients with suspicion <span class=\"term\" data-term-id=\"43\">connective tissue<\/span> or <span class=\"term\" data-term-id=\"691\">autoimmune<\/span> disease.<\/li>\n<li>Proteins, including <span class=\"term\" data-term-id=\"428\">immunoglobulins<\/span>, cryoproteins and <span class=\"term\" data-term-id=\"465\">complement<\/span>, are evaluated in patients with vasculitis or connective tissue disease.<\/li>\n<li>Specific <span class=\"term\" data-term-id=\"621\">serology<\/span> requested for infections for example <span class=\"term\" data-term-id=\"1801\">hepatitis<\/span> B, hepatitis C, human immunodeficiency virus (<span class=\"term\" data-term-id=\"127\">HIV<\/span>), syphilis.<\/li>\n<li>Additional tests in vasculitis include anti-<span class=\"term\" data-term-id=\"441\">neutrophils<\/span> cytoplasmic antibodies (<span class=\"term\" data-term-id=\"551\">HAUNCH<\/span>), antiphospholipids and thrombophilia detection.<\/li>\n<li>Hormonal tests are occasionally organized in women with acne, hirsutism, and androgenetics. <span class=\"term\" data-term-id=\"824\">alopecia<\/span> if the symptoms indicate that these tests are justified, or if virilism is present.<\/li>\n<li>Urinary and fecal or <span class=\"term\" data-term-id=\"1430\">serum<\/span> <span class=\"term\" data-term-id=\"1515\">porphyrins<\/span> are requested in patients who may have a <span class=\"term\" data-term-id=\"47\">cutaneous<\/span> porphyria<\/li>\n<li>\n<span class=\"term\" data-term-id=\"1488\">Cytogenetics<\/span> tests including karyotype, fluorescent <span class=\"term\" data-term-id=\"863\">in the place<\/span> hybridization and <span>comparative genomic hybridization.<\/span>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Blood-based <span class=\"term\" data-term-id=\"1670\">melanoma<\/span> Screening tests (liquid biopsy) are being investigated.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div id=\"square-placement-country-holder\" class=\"country-dependent advert\">\n<div class=\"box-placement square-placement\">\n<div class=\"advert__frame\">\n<div id=\"dermnet-dermnet-mobbox\">\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Pruebas-de-alergia\"><\/span>Allergy tests<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Determination of allergy requires careful history and examination, and testing must have a specific question in mind.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Pruebas-de-pinchazo\"><\/span>Puncture tests<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Puncture tests for immediate hypersensitivity are not very helpful in investigating skin conditions.
