Consiste en varios parches hiperpigmentados con bordes no bien definidos distribuidos sim\u00e9tricamente en el rostro.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La frente, mejillas, labio superior y ment\u00f3n son las \u00e1reas m\u00e1s afectadas. El color puede variar desde distintos tonos del marr\u00f3n hasta el negro. La exposici\u00f3n al sol aumenta el grado de la pigmentaci\u00f3n. Las pigmentaciones m\u00e1s oscuras ocurren sobre las prominencias \u00f3seas de la frente y p\u00f3mulos, las cuales reciben mayores radiaciones solares.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El melasma se ve m\u00e1s frecuentemente durante el embarazo o cuando el paciente toma anticonceptivos, pero tambi\u00e9n puede aparecer en la menopausia y en hombres.
