What are they lichenoid disorders?
Lichen is found growing on trees and in other parts of the garden or forest. It is a symbiotic fungus / algae characterized by a flat top organisms. Lichenoid skin disorders got their name from their appearance, also flat-surface and often somewhat scaly. They are characterized by a particular type of inflammation found in histology.
