Arm Lift (Brachioplasty)

The passing of the years and the loss of weight produce sagging of all body tissues, the skin of the arms does not escape this phenomenon. The solution to sagging arms

The difficulty that existed until a while ago was the unsightly scar left by the conventional technique. Due to its anatomical characteristics, the skin on the inner side of the arm is not adequate to accommodate a scar, which in most cases despite the precautions taken by the surgeon trained in this procedure, widens, proving to be highly visible and unsightly.

For some time in our centers we have developed lthe technique of leaving the scar on the back of the arm. The dermis on the back of the arm is thicker and therefore has less chance of widening. The back of the arm is generally the closest to the body and therefore the least seen. With this simple change in technique, we have managed to improve the aesthetic result of the arm lift, obtaining greater patient satisfaction. Thanks to this we managed to get some stylized and harmonic arms with the body.

How is it the procedure?

This surgery is performed by the Dr.Ricardo Hoogstra. This procedure is performed under local anesthesia, with sedation assisted by an anesthesiologist. The patient retires to his home a short time later and the next day he can continue his activity.

Postoperative

He surgery time is approximately 30 minutes. The residence time in the Clinic is approximately 3 to 4 hours.

Patients traveling from the interior of the country or abroad must be the day before surgery and may return 48 or 72 hours after surgery.

The cost of the intervention is made with prior evaluation of the Dr. Hoogstra. The query value is U$D 100  which are reimbursed in the total amount of the procedure.
